ArabiCollege Online Arabic Test
You can call for a test after finishing the study of a certain level, so you can evaluate reaching the objectives of the level before moving to the next level by this test, which is held individually live between you and an ArabiCollege teacher and it measures the four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
Each test is to measure the learning outcomes and how have you reach the goals of a level.
Level One Goals:
- Students can recognize the Arabic sounds that distinguish the Arabic language from any other language as well as the similarities between the Arabic language and their mother tongue.
- Students can read and write the Arabic letters as well as understanding the long and the short vowels and the differences between them.
Level Two Goals:
- Students can understand and use basic Arabic words and everyday vocabularies.
- Students can receive and produce short and simple sentences.
Level Three Goals:
- Students can understand and use familiar expressions, interact in a simple way in supported situations, and give basic information about themselves and people they know.
- Students can understand the different types of Arabic words.
Level Four Goals:
- Students can use and understand the frequently used expressions that enable them to give and to request, and to relate to others speaking in a simple manner.
- Students can be Familiar with Connected and Separated Pronouns, Feminine and Masculine, asking questions, Subject Pronoun, Singular and plural, prepositions, Negation, and Possessive Pronouns.
Level Five Goals:
- Students can understand and compose simple texts.
- Students can use the Arabic order of speech accurately.
Level Six Goals:
- Students can describe aspects of their own background and immediate environment.
- Students can understand Arabic materials such as short speeches without any misunderstanding.
Level Seven Goals:
- Students can understand and produce a variety of text types.
- Students can guess a new lexical item from contextual clues with a reasonable degree of accuracy.
Level Eight Goals:
- Students can understand and compose more complex language.
- Students can express ideas by using the right word in well composed sentences.
Level Nine Goals:
- Students can use language variably and effectively to express and justify their own ideas and opinions and support or challenge those of others.
- Students can understand the different ways of composing a sentence to reach what is meant accurately.
Level Ten Goals:
- Students can use and identify the linguistic and cultural forms that guide interpretation and enable them to respond critically to texts.
- Students can express points of view, organize ideas, and use logical arguments.
Level Eleven Goals:
- Students can acquire the skill of careful selection of details and choice of words.
- Students can acquire a greater knowledge of various and diverse aspects of Arabic culture and reality, enabling them to participate in conversations on these themes, defending a point of view with a degree of fluidity, even when relating to native Arabic speakers.
Level Twelve Goals:
- Students can use the metaphorical method to express ideas.
- Students can adapt their style of speaking to the demands of the situation, knowing how to effectively use the indicative-subjunctive to add depth and infection to their speech.
