The impact of Arabic language

The Arabic language has a huge effect upon the other languages whether directly or indirectly like: Turkish, Farsi (Persian), Urdu, Kurdish, Malaysian, Indonesian, Albanian and some other African languages such as: Hausa and Swahili and some European languages specially Spanish, Maltese, Portuguese and Sicilian.

Therefore Arabic language is one of the six official languages in the U.S. Organization.

The impact of other languages upon the Arabic language

The Arabic language isn’t affected greatly by the other languages despite the mingling between Arab community and other nations. Therefore the Arabic grammatical rules and structure remain as is without any changes. However some kind of borrowing from other languages occurred like Farsi and Greek as Arabic language borrowed some words from those languages which did not have an equivalent in the Arabic language.
